About Us
For over three decades, Paige Floor Covering Specialists has been a trusted provider of Marine Deck Coverings and Specialty Coatings to both our Air and Surface fleet. Our unwavering commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and with exceptional quality has earned us a stellar reputation. Whether working with major defense contractors or directly with the government, our skilled management team excels in all aspects of ship repair availabilities. From estimation and planning to scheduling and execution, Paige is fully equipped to support ship repair projects of all sizes. We take pride in our ability to handle various types of jobs, including Emergent Work, Continuous Maintenance, Extended Dry-dock Phase Maintenance, and Planned Incremental Avails.
Established in 1989, our Deck Covering Department has successfully removed and installed millions of square feet of deck covering products across the globe, all while maintaining our SSPC QP-1 certification. By collaborating directly with product manufacturers and leveraging the latest tools and practices, we ensure that our customers receive the highest quality products at the best possible prices.
In 2009, Paige expanded its services with the establishment of the Preservation Department, complementing our deck covering capabilities. Paige Preservation specializes in a wide range of marine painting requirements, including brush and roll techniques, compartment spray outs, and paint touch-ups. We have established ourselves as one of the leading Marine Painting Companies on the waterfront. Our state-of-the-art facility features a large paint booth, enabling us to fully support shop blasting and painting for various types of furniture and equipment.
In 2011, we proudly introduced Paige Toxic Metal Abatement. This valuable addition allows us to provide comprehensive support to prime contractors and the government by offering full-service abatement of toxic metal–containing coating systems, such as those with Lead and Hexavalent Chromium. Paige Abatement ensures the safe and efficient completion of abatement projects of all sizes. Furthermore, our expertise extends to Mold Remediation Services, both aboard vessels and at commercial locations, where we work closely with leading abatement product suppliers to ensure all safety and performance standards are met.
In 2021, Paige Floor Covering underwent another transformation by revamping our commercial department. We are proud to hold certifications in C-15 Flooring and Floor Covering, as well as C-54 Tile (Ceramic and Mosaic). With these certifications and our team of hybrid installers who possess years of experience in both fields, Paige is fully capable of handling commercial projects of any size. We have successfully installed a wide range of floor covering systems in schools and universities, commercial and government buildings, restaurants, grocery stores, offices, retail spaces, and hospitality venues.
In 2025, Paige expanded once again with the establishment of our Lagging/Insulation and PCMS Department. This department provides specialized services for insulation and lagging removal and installation, as well as installation and maintenance of Passive Countermeasure System (PCMS) Tiles. With dedicated technicians trained in the latest methods and standards, this department strengthens our ability to support shipboard systems, equipment preservation, thermal efficiency, and defense-related countermeasure applications across a wide range of availabilities.
At Paige, we foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Employees at Paige Decking, Paige Preservation, Paige Abatement, and our Lagging/Insulation and PCMS Department undergo cross-training and rotations between disciplines within our corporation. This approach keeps all departments active and thriving while providing our employees with valuable opportunities to expand their skills and support a diverse range of ship repair and commercial projects.
